Simon Ross, Chief Executive, Manchester University Press

This presentation will cover how Manchester University Press has adapted to institutional and market demands for open access, especially for books in the humanities and the social sciences. There is now a need for a more coordinated institutional response that includes, the library, the research office and the Press that is necessary to cope with the demands of recent mandates and processes such as the REF. I will outline some of the initiatives that have been developed to address the impact across the University.
